Ummm, hi Miley? She's definitely not Hannah Montana anymore but I have to be honest; she looks amazing.
Hair and makeup are on point - could do without the excessive tongue out and ass up action, though (I wonder how Billy Ray feels about it). I'll give props where I can - she's improved from her Party in the USA days.

Mix It Up

As some of you may know I've been a big fan of bright, pigmented lipsticks lately.
This past weekend, while I was in mid-mascara routine (I use 2 different mascaras), I thought "why not mix up my lipsticks, too?"
And you know what? That's exactly what I did.

We're not going to use just one amazing lip color, when it's possible to use TWO.
I unfortunately did not capture what the turnout was - but if you can imagine the above mixed together resulting in a really pretty purple-ish coral color, you'd know it was a success!
Something simple to mix up your everyday makeup routine.

What I Love About Sunday

This past weekend finally felt like summer!

Beer tent-ing, a cookout with close friends and a relaxing day by the water with B.

Friday Favorite



This weekend kicks off beer tent season; if you're a fan of drinking, with your friends, in the summer, all under the same 'roof', then you'd be a beer tent fan. It's also the first weekend in a looong time that I haven't had anything to do. Who knows what the weekend will hold - a little beach action, day drinking, shopping, or just relaxing? The possibilities are endless.

The Perfect Pair

I can safely say that someone has PERFECTED the makeup removing wipe! I've always had problems with this product; they either weren't moist enough, they burned my eyes or they didn't remove anything. Sometimes all of the above.
Have no fear, ladies. Loreal's new line - Ideal Clean - is for all skin types and is the most effective makeup removing towelette out there (and I've tried a bunch)! So gentle, effectively removes every.trace.of.makeup, smells great and it doesn't feel like you're burning your eyes off during and after use :)

I went to repurchase another package and saw that they also have a foaming gel cleanser; also perfection.

WHAT IT DOES:
I really feel like I'm getting all of the dirt, oil and makeup that's been on my skin. It does not leave any tightness or dry feeling and claims to minimize pores.
WHO IT'S FOR:
All skin types, just like the towelettes!
WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE:
An amazing mix of floral/mint/cucumber. So refreshing.

The Benefit

 

Benefit Cosmetics has always had a special place in my heart. From when they first won me over with their bad gal lash mascara, to later on when I discovered watt's up! highlighter - I have always been a huge fan. When I entered Ulta last night, they really pulled at the heart strings by offering FOUR AMAZING PRODUCTS FOR FREE! All I had to do was spend $35. Done. I've been meaning to buy an eye cream and let's face it: it's not the most exciting thing to purchase, but you need it in your life. Who can make a not-so-fun purchase fun? Benefit. By offering my favorite mascara, a primer I've been DYING to try, a luxurious golden bronze highlighter for the upcoming summer months and the perfect pink-nude lip gloss to match.

Am I the only one that feels like a child on Christmas morning when they get to try new products?
