I'm not sure what it is about day drinking - but it just seems so much better than the usual. Sunday marked the first Buffalo Sabres hockey game after about a 3 month lockout. In Buffalo this means getting together to cheer on your team, but also is an excuse for getting together at a bar and drink. No matter what time of the day (12:30pm on Sunday - sure).
It's especially lovely when they offer free shots every time your team gets a goal. Lovely, festive and usually a bad idea.
Needless to say, Monday isn't so great.
